Abstract. The aim of present investigation was to estimate the effect of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilization on yield of Tall Gypsophyll (Gypsophila paniculata L.) roots. The fertilization rates N-P-K (g NPK × 1 m-2) were established as: 1) control treatment – without NPK, 2) 10-10-10, 3) 20-10-10, 4) 30-10-10, 5) 10-20-10, 6) 10-30-10, 7) 10-10-20, 8) 10-10-30. Results showed the significant effect of 10 N-20 P-10 K fertilization on yield roots. Yield of dry root mass obtained in the second year of cultivation was 28.7 q/ha and 36.7 q in the third year of cultivation. The fertilization of nitrogen did not influence the yield of the roots.

Summary
Gypsophilla paniculata L. is very popular because its floristic and medicine purpose. Herbal yield is root (Radix Gypsophilae). The plants were planted out in 2000 and roots were dig out partially in 2001 and 2002.
There was investigated influence of different levels of NPK fertilization on yield of G. paniculata L. in second and third year of field experiment. The fertilization rates N-P-K (g NPK∙1 m-2) were established as: 1) control treatment – without NPK, 2) 10-10-10, 3) 20-10-10, 4) 30-10-10, 5) 10-20-10, 6) 10-30-10, 7) 10-10-20, 8) 10-10-30.
The results of the study are showed in Table 2.
Results showed the significant effect of 10 N-20 P-10 K fertilization on yield roots.
Yield of dry root mass obtained in second year of cultivation was 28.7 q/ha and 36.7 q in third year of cultivation. The fertilization of nitrogen did not influence yield of the roots.
